Child Safety Standards

Meetra's standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)

1. Our Commitment

Meetra has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We are committed to preventing, detecting, and removing any such content or conduct on our platform, and to reporting it to the relevant authorities. This page describes the standards we uphold to keep minors safe.

2. Minimum Age of 16

Meetra is intended only for users aged 16 and older. Accounts must not be created by, or on behalf of, anyone under 16. When we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 16, we remove it. Users provide their date of birth at sign-up, and we act on any credible signal that a user is underage.

3. Prohibited Conduct and Content

The following are strictly forbidden on Meetra and result in immediate removal and account termination:

  • Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, videos, text, or links.
  • Sexualization of minors, grooming, or attempts to solicit, exploit, or endanger a minor.
  • Trafficking, sextortion, or any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits children.
  • Sharing or promoting access to CSAE material anywhere.

4. Prevention and Detection

  • Profiles and uploaded photos are subject to review, and we act on signals of abuse or underage use.
  • Users can be reported and blocked, and reported content is reviewed by our team.
  • Accounts that violate these standards are removed, and associated content is deleted.

5. In-App Reporting

Every user can report child-safety concerns directly inside the app:

  • Use Report on any user profile, event, message, or piece of content.
  • Use Report a Problem in Settings to flag a safety concern.
  • Or email us directly at support@meetra.app.

We review reports of CSAE promptly and take action, including content removal, account termination, and reporting to authorities where required.

6. Legal Compliance and Reporting to Authorities

Meetra complies with all applicable child-safety laws. When we identify CSAM or credible CSAE, we remove it, preserve relevant records as required by law, and report to the appropriate regional and national authorities and child-protection organizations (including, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement).

7. Point of Contact

Our designated child-safety point of contact can be reached at support@meetra.app. This contact is able to respond to questions about our CSAM prevention practices and compliance.
